Eric is a junior who joined MAT in 2022. His main interests lie in math and social studies. In his spare time, he enjoys playing chess, tennis, and reading.

To be merely humble, intelligent, and diligent is insufficient. The destiny of true mathematicians lies in having the immense perseverance, inhuman determination, and life-long dedication to solve the unsolvable, decipher the undecipherable, do the undoable, and be the un-be-able, regardless of the odds or consequences. That given, I think I am a false mathematician.

Sophia is not as genius in terms of math but she has a really REALLY wide range of interests: from 2000 American TV shows to Chinese Online Literature to Musicals to Volleyball and so much more... (I LOVE CRIMINAL MINDS)

I am the independent developer of Scheduler, an app for students at school that helps with their scheduling. My achievements in math include getting a perfect 100% in Calculus BC finals last semester. Additionally, I am an accomplished musician and a soloist for Symphony Orchestra in the upcoming Spring Concert.

James is a core member of the Mu Alpha Theta club, and he enjoys solving intricate math problems that challenge the mind. His other hobbies including playing the piano, badminton, and swimming.

I'm Scarlet and I'm interested in math, business, and cognitive science. Outside of academics, I like design and I do Track & Field.

Caridee loves participating in math competitions such as the AMC 10/12 and AIME. She also plays lacrosse and wordle.

I’m Elia Chen, class of 2026. Math is a subject that I enjoy learning about and it’s definitely better than learning how to cook. This subject brings me confidence and  my love for math goes toward infinity ♾.

I’m Jimin and this is my first year in MAT. I hope that I can expand my passion for math and make more meaningful contributions in SAS through this honor society.

Diego joined MAT in Grade 10 and has been an active member involved in tutoring, writing review sheets, and more. Apart from his work in MAT, he applies mathematics to his passion projects in biology and also touches grass frequently by involving himself in numerous sport activities.

Hanjing is a senior and has been a member of MAT for two years. Her hobbies include creative writing, reading, public speaking, and Summle.

Emily joined MAT in her sophomore year. Besides math, she also enjoys physics, ballet, and playing the piano.

Sarah joined MAT in 2022 and enjoys applying mathematics to explore cosmology. In her spare time, her other interests range from nature to French poetry and philosophy.

Bo Xin Zhao is a junior who is a member of MAT and currently takes MVC. He enjoys competitive debating and reading as hobbies.
